Flower delivery for areas outside areas we cover - Flower Delivery worldwide

If your order is for an area outside of the above we can organise delivery for you through our network of florists the main one we currently use is Interflora. We will ask them to make as close as possible to the image but because of the difference in stock and sundry items, it may not be exact.

Once your bouquet has been delivered to the recipient, you will receive a photograph of your delivery to give you peace of mind.

How Much is Delivery?

Standard delivery is £7.50 for this we will deliver your flowers between the hours of 9am-5.30pm Monday - Saturday and 10am-4pm on Sunday.

Morning Delivery £12  flower delivery between 8-12

Same Day Delivery £10 as long as you order before 2pm Mon - Sat and before 1pm on Sunday.  If you want same day after this we recommend you call the shop on 01517244850 and we will see what we can do.  If you do place a same-day delivery after 2 - if we can get it out we will - if not we will deliver it the next working day.

For areas we do not deliver to we can still help you by advising you on flower choices and then routing through the Interflora network of florist. The delivery cost for this is the same as above.

What happens if no one is in when you try to deliver?

If no one is in when we try to deliver we see if any of the neighbours will take the flowers and put a card through the recipients door letting them know where the flowers are so that they can get them as soon as they get home. If no neighbours are available we will put a card through the door letting them know that we have taken the flowers back to the shop so they can call and rearrange delivery for when they are in.

If you have a telephone number for the recipient it is always worth giving it to us at point of order as if there is any difficulty with the delivery we can contact them direct and they are more likely to get their flower on the day.

When we have left the flowers with a neighbour your delivery notification will indicate where these have been left.

What is the latest I can order for same day delivery?

Cut off for guaranteed same-day delivery is 2pm Mon – Sat and 1pm on Sunday.  However if it is later than this and the address is nearby we will always do our best to help you so worth a call to the shop. 01517244850

When will my flowers get delivered?

Normal delivery time is anytime between 9am - 5.30pm just because an address is close to the shop does not necessarily mean it will definitely get delivered in the morning. Many factors can affect this we may have lots of guaranteed delivery orders on that morning or we may be waiting for a fresh flower delivery before your flowers can be made. If you must have you flower by a certain time ask for one of our enhanced delivery services, if you would just like it by a certain time but not imperative ask us and we will always do our best we will just not be able to guarantee.

You will also receive a text and or email when your flowers have left our shop on delivery. This will give you an idea of when your flowers might arrive - however bear in mind we sometimes have quite large delivery runs and can take several hours to complete. Proximity to the shop does not necessarily mean your order will be delivered first as our routing software works out the most efficient route in a circular route from our shop.

Can I see a picture of the flowers you are sending for me?

Yes you can. Once your bouquet has been delivered to the recipient you will receive a text and or email, if you have provided and email you will also receive a photograph of your delivery. Please note we take a photo of the order on the doorstep before delivery to avoid awkward photos at the door. We don't leave flowers on the doorstep unless we have been asked to and it is protected and secure.

Flowers and Flower Care

Booker Flowers and Gifts Liverpool Care for Flowers Booker Flowers and Gifts Liverpool Ultimate Freshness Booker Flowers and Gifts Liverpool Caring For Your Flowers

How long will my flowers last?

The longevity of flowers varies on the type of flowers and the care they receive. However all our flower are backed by or 7 day freshness guarantee and we will gladly exchange them for you if they do not live up to this expectation. Many of our customers tell us our flowers last much longer than this and that flowers from us last much longer than when they get them from other florists.  We attribute this to a high stock turnover and buying where we can directly from the grower meaning our flowers spend much less time in transit and these extra days get added onto your vase life.

What is the best way to care for my flower to ensure they last the longest?

Make sure your vase has been thoroughly washed before filling ¾ with clean water.  Do not use a metallic container. Add the flower food provided, following the instructions on the packet.  Remove any wrapping from the flowers (but leave tie in place) and remove any foliage that will be below the water level before cutting (at and angle) about 2cms off the bottom of the stems.

Display your flowers in a cool location away from draughts ripening fruit, direct sunlight and heat sources such as radiators or fires as these will all prematurely age your flowers.  Top up water daily and remove any fading flowers.  Every 2-3 days re-cut the stems and replace in fresh water.

What if I am not happy with the flowers I receive?

If you are unhappy with any aspect of your flower delivery please do get in touch as quickly as possible and we will do everything we can to resolve it so that you are a happy customer.  Due to the perishable nature of the product we are unable to refund or replace flowers older than 7 days.

Will my flowers look like the picture?

Flowers are a natural product and as such vary in colour, shape and quality depending on variety of conditions. Because of this fact we can never say the bouquet or arrangement will look exactly like the picture as no two will ever be the same. However the picture is a guide for you and should give a fair representation of the colours and types of flowers you will receive. As flowers are seasonal to give you the very best we occasionally may have to make substitutes If this has a major effect on the look of the design we will contact you to agree the change before delivery.

How do you look after an aqua packed bouquet it a box? - Left in box transferred to vase

Whilst for longevity it is always better to unpack an aqua packed bouquet and transfer to vase there are times when this is simply not possible. In this instance the best way to care for your flowers is to keep an eye on the water level and top up when necessary using the flower food provided. Remove any faded flowers as soon as possible (as the ethelyne gas that decaying flower gives off ages others flowers quicker) To remove get cut the stem from the top as close to the tying point as possible.

How do you look after a flower arrangement done in Floral foam or Oasis?

If you receive flowers arranged in floral foam or oasis you do not need to do anything straight away. In 2-3 days time mix water into a jug the flower food provided, following the instructions on the packet. Take the arrangement to the sink and poor the water slowly onto the foam as close as you can to the arrangement (you may not use all the flower food solution). If the arrangement has a back it is usually easier to do this from the back as there is less flowers and foliage there. Top up water every couple of days and remove any fading flowers.

How is Booker Flowers and Gifts dedicated to being eco-friendly and sustainable?

At Booker Flowers and Gifts, we are deeply committed to minimising the environmental impact of our business. As part of our ongoing efforts, we aim to achieve Net Zero Emissions by 2030, ahead of the UK Government’s 2050 target. We are proud to announce that we have been awarded The Good Small Business Awards 2024 Industry Champion in Retail and Wholesale Activities, recognising our dedication to saving the planet one small business at a time. Here are some key ways we are making our business more sustainable:

Sustainable Sourcing: We prioritise purchasing flowers and foliage from local growers without plastic packaging and work only with international suppliers who meet sustainability and fair labour standards. This helps us reduce ‘flower miles’ and support ethical practices.

Eco-friendly Operations: We use biodegradable floral foam, compost our green waste, and deliver bouquets in eco-friendly wrapping. Our gift bags and packaging are made from recycled materials, and we encourage minimal packaging. We are a paperless company, using digital communications to reduce paper usage.

Energy Efficiency: Our shop is powered by 100% renewable energy, and we use LED lighting to reduce electricity consumption. We plan our delivery routes to minimise fuel emissions and are transitioning our vehicle fleet to electric or hydrogen-powered options.

Waste Reduction: We sort and recycle waste wherever possible, compost green waste, and collaborate with local businesses to manage our composting process more effectively. We also give back to local communities by composting old flowers and returning this natural resource to support local gardens and green spaces.

Community Engagement: We participate in initiatives like Global Goals Week and work with local organisations to promote sustainability and environmental responsibility.

Continuous Improvement: We regularly review and update our practices to find new ways to be more sustainable, including attending workshops and being part of Clean Growth UK.

Our dedication to eco-friendly practices is an ongoing journey, and we are proud to lead by example in the floristry industry. We invite our customers to join us in this commitment by choosing sustainable floral designs and products.
